"A RESOLUTION DECLARING VARIOUS PARCELS OF LAND SPECIFICALLY KNOWN AS LOT NOS. 5881-K-1, 5881-K-2, 5881-K-3, 5881-K-4, 5881-K-5, 5881-K-6 AND 5881-K-7, CONTAINING A TOTAL LAND AREA OF FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT (4,998) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, AS PROPERTY INDISPENSABLE TO PUBLIC USE AND NECESSITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT CENTER"
WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, committed with the desire and intention to strengthen administrative efficiency and provide better services not only to the people of the city but to the entire Zamboanga Peninsula Region, has continuously pursuing the further development and expansion of the present Regional Government Center situated in Barangay Balintawak, this city, with the end in view of becoming a centralized hub that would cater most, if not all, of the regional offices of the national government;
WHEREAS, consequently, several privately-owned parcels of land thereat which have been found to be contiguously situated at the geographic center of the current 80-hectare regional government center complex, and apparently within the Five Hundred (500)-meter circumference area declared as "Reserved Area" by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, through Resolution No. 2019-0147, have been duly identified vital and essential for the expansion of such regional center site;
WHEREAS, premises considered, it is thus imperative for this august body to declare the above-mentioned parcels of land as indispensable for public use purposely to support whatever legal action(s) the City Government may undertake necessary to acquire the said properties;
NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it
RESOLVED to declare, as this body hereby declares the following parcels of land specifically known as Lot Nos. 5881-K-1, 5881-K-2, 5881-K-3, 5881-K-4, 5881-K-5, 5881-K-6 and 5881-K-7, containing a total land area of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Eight (4,998) square meters, situated in Barangay Balintawak, this city, as indispensable to the public for purposes of establishing and developing the Regional Government Center, and particularly described herein, viz:
