"A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE CONDUCT OF THE ENHANCING LOCAL GOVERNANCE CAPACITIES IN PLANNING, BUDGETING, PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING, AND EVALUATION AS WELL AS THE ATTENDANCE TO THE SCHEDULED SIGNING OF THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE INSURANCE SYSTEM (GSIS) ON SEPTEMBER 13 TO 16, 2026 IN METRO MANILA, AS AN OFFICIAL UNDERTAKING OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD AND, THEREBY, RESETTING THE 50TH REGULAR SESSION OF THE 15TH CITY COUNCIL TO SEPTEMBER 23, 2026"
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod is scheduled to participate the Enhancing Local Governance Capacities in Planning, Budgeting, Program Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation as well as attend the signing of the Deed of Donation in favor of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on September 13 to 16, 2026 in Metro Manila, an undertaking directly related to the effective discharge of its legislative and oversight functions and intended to strengthen the capacity of its members in local governance and public service;
WHEREAS, in view of the official nature and importance of the said undertaking, the Sangguniang Panlungsod deems it proper to consider its scheduled conduct as an official undertaking of the City Council in lieu of the Regular Session for the week, and accordingly reset the 50th Regular Session of the 15th City Council to September 23, 2026, to ensure the continued orderly and effective conduct of its legislative business;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it
RESOLVED to consider, as it is hereby considered the conduct of Enhancing Local Governance Capacities in Planning, Budgeting, Program Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation as well as the attendance to the scheduled signing of the Deed Of Donation in favor of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on September 13 to 16, 2026 in Metro Manila, as an official undertaking of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and, thereby, resetting the 50TH Regular Session of the 15th City Council to September 23, 2026.
