RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0521 (Sponsored by: Committee on Education, Science and Technology and Accreditation of NGOs and POs) "A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING AND RECOGNIZING THE PAGADIAN CITY HIMBIS FISH DEALER AND RETAILER MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (PAHIMBISCO), AS A NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION EXISTING AND OPERATING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Pagadian City Himbis Fish Dealer and Retailer Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PAHIMBISCO), a duly registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA)--applied, pursuant to the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, for accreditation as a non-government organization existing and operating in the City; WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science, Technology & Accreditation of NGOs and POs of this Sanggunian recommended favorable action on the application after evaluating the documents submitted by the association and having determined its compliance to the requirements set forth by the Local Government Code and City Ordinance No. 2010-304, as amended; WHEREAS, this body supports the application with the view of generating the widest community participation in the government's pursuit in promoting livelihood opportunities and advancing cooperative principles that will benefit the government employees of Pagadian City; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Bienvenido C. Culve, be it RESOLVED to accredit and recognize, as this body hereby accredits and recognizes the Pagadian City Himbis Fish Dealer and Retailer Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PAHIMBISCO), as a Non-Government Organization existing and operating in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to Ms. Mercedes C. Fernandez, Chairperson, Pagadian City Himbis Fish Dealer and Retailer Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PAHIMBISCO); the City Planning & Development Coordinator; Ms. Mafgen Jamisola-Capangpangan, Designated Pagadian City CSO Desk Officer; and the Honorable City Mayor, all of this City, for information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
