RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0506

"A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING AND RECOGNIZING THE ASSOCIATION OF BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS, AS A NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION EXISTING AND OPERATING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"
WHEREAS, the Association of Barangay Health Workers applied for accreditation as a legitimate organization existing and operating in Pagadian City pursuant to the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991;
WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science, Technology & Accreditation of NGOs and POs of this Sanggunian recommended favorable action on the application after evaluating the documents submitted by the association and having determined its compliance to the requirements set forth by the Local Government Code and City Ordinance No. 2010-304, as amended;
WHEREAS, this body strongly supports the application and recognizes its immense potential to enhance health information dissemination and drive community mobilization in the City of Pagadian;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Bienvenido C. Culve, be it
RESOLVED to accredit and recognize, as this body hereby accredits and recognizes the Association of Barangay Health Workers, as a Non-Government Organization existing and operating in the City of Pagadian.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to Ms. Sara Lora, President, Association of Barangay Health Workers; the City Planning & Development Coordinator; the City Local Government Operations Officer; and the Honorable City Mayor, all of this City, for information and guidance.
