Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE INSURANCE SYSTEM (GSIS) WITH REFERENCE TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT 2, BLOCK 4 , CONTAINING AN AREA OF FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FOUR & POINT SEVEN (5,504.07) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL GOVERNMENT CENTER, BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, FOR USE AS SITE OF ITS PERMANENT OFFICE BUILDING" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod adopted Resolution No. 2009-0691, which, in gist, approved the grant, by way of Deeds of Donation, the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City, to the transferring regional offices of the different national government departments and agencies, WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in its continuing commitment to support the expansion and accessibility of government services within the City, has offered Lot 2, Block 4, containing an area of Five Thousand Five Hundred Four & Point Seven (5,504.07) Square Meters, as a suitable site for the establishment of a permanent office/facility of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), after considering the agency's request in relation to the space and operational requirements; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) with reference to the City Government-owned parcel of land known as Lot 2, Block 4, containing an area of Five Thousand Five Hundred Four & Point Seven (5,504.07) Square Meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this City, for use as site of its permanent office building. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; to the President & General Manager Jose Arnulfo A. Veloso, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), GSIS Building, Financial Center, Jose W. Diokno Boulevard, Pasay City; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
