RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0495 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Barangay Affairs and Committee on Disaster/Calamity Resilience and Management) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 05, SERIES OF 2026, OF BARANGAY BULATOK, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RESILIENCE, CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION, AND COMMUNITY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM OF BARANGAY BULATOK, PROVIDING FOR COMMUNITY-BASED DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT, CLIMATE ADAPTATION MEASURES, EMERGENCY RESPONSE PREPAREDNESS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Bulatok, this City, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 05, series of 2026, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing The Barangay Disaster Resilience, Climate Change Adaptation, And Community Emergency Preparedness Program Of Barangay Bulatok, Providing For Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction And Management, Climate Adaptation Measures, Emergency Response Preparedness, And For Other Purposes, and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for review and confirmation pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the said Committee, to which the foregoing Barangay Ordinance was referred for review, found the same in order in form and is consistent with the powers delegated to the Sangguniang Barangay, thus the recommendation to confirm the validity of said measure is supported and concurred by this august body; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Joan Szanne S. Pulmones, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 05, series of 2026, from the Barangay Council of Bulatok, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing The Barangay Disaster Resilience, Climate Change Adaptation, And Community Emergency Preparedness Program Of Barangay Bulatok, Providing For Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction And Management, Climate Adaptation Measures, Emergency Response Preparedness, And For Other Purposes." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Bulatok, through the Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
