RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0441 (Sponsored by: Committee on Education, Science & Technology and Accreditation of NGOs and POs) "A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING AND RECOGNIZING THE BALANGASAN ASSOCIATION OF PERSON WITH DISABILITY (BAPWD), AS A NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION EXISTING AND OPERATING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Balangasan Association of Person with Disability (BAPWD), applied for accreditation as a legitimate organization existing and operating in Pagadian City pursuant to the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science, Technology & Accreditation of NGOs and POs of this Sanggunian recommended favorable action on the application after evaluating the documents submitted by the association and having determined its compliance to the requirements set forth by the Local Government Code and City Ordinance No. 2010-304, as amended; WHEREAS, this body strongly supports the application, recognizing its potential to foster mutual aid and advance the moral, social, and economic well-being of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) residing in Pagadian City; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Bienvenido C. Culve , be it RESOLVED to accredit and recognize, as this body hereby accredits and recognizes the Balangasan Association of Person with Disability (BAPWD), as a Non-Government Organization existing and operating in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to Mr. Ryan Salvador, President, Balangasan Association of Person with Disability, (BAPWD); the City Planning & Development Coordinator; the City Local Government Operations Officer; and the Honorable City Mayor, all of this City, for information and guidance.
