RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0435 (Sponsored by: Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana) "A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE PARTICIPATION/ATTENDANCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE 15TH CITY COUNCIL TO THE PCL-2026 2ND QUARTERLY CONTINUING LOCAL LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM (CLLEP) ON JULY 29 TO 31, 2026, AT THE ILOILO CITY CONVENTION CENTER (ICON), MANDURRIAO, ILOILO CITY, AS AN OFFICIAL UNDERTAKING OF THE BODY IN LIEU OF ITS SCHEDULED SESSION FOR THE WEEK THEREBY, IN EFFECT, SCHEDULING THE 45TH REGULAR SESSION TO AUGUST 5, 2026" WHEREAS, pursuant to the Memorandum Circular No. 2025-080 from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), dated August 7, 2025, all, if not majority, of the members of the 15th City Council are scheduled to attend and participate in the 2ND Quarterly Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP) on July 2029-31, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center (ICON) Mandurriao, Iloilo City; WHEREAS, considering the foregoing activity to be equally important and with great bearing particularly on the discharge of the official duties and responsibilities of local legislators, hence, the body deems necessary to consider the said activity as an official undertaking which therefore will necessitate the setting of the 45th Regular Session to August 5, 2026; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to consider, as this body hereby considers the participation/attendance of the members of the 15th City Council to the PCL-2026 2nd Quarterly Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP) on July 29 to 31, 2026, at the Iloilo City Convention Center (ICON), Mandurriao, Iloilo City, as an official undertaking of the body in lieu of its scheduled session for the week thereby, in effect, scheduling the 45th Regular Session to August 5, 2026. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
