"A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF DAO ITS RESOLUTION NO. 2026-31, ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION AMENDING BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 2014-03, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF ANY AUDIO DEVICES THAT CAN CAUSE DISTURBANCE WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF BARANGAY DAO, PAGADIAN CITY," FOR FURTHER STUDY AND REVIEW"
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Dao passed Resolution No. 2026-31, entitled: "A Resolution Amending Barangay Ordinance No. 2014-03, entitled: "An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Any Audio Devices That Can Cause Disturbance Within The Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Dao, Pagadian City," and submitted the same to this august body;
WHEREAS, this body, upon joint evaluation of the foregoing concern by the Committee on Police, Fire, and Public Safety and the Committee on Barangay Affairs, finds that the afore-mentioned barangay resolution does not conform with the provision of City Ordinance No. 2018-411 and does not align with the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-029, thus remanding the same to the concerned barangay for further study and review is most appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Maphilindo Q. Obaob, be it
RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Dao its Resolution No. 2026-31, Entitled: "A Resolution Amending Barangay Ordinance No. 2014-03, Entitled: "An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Any Audio Devices that can Cause Disturbance Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Dao, Pagadian City," for further study and review.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Dao through its Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
