RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0392

"A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR THE DRAFT MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) TO BE ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND THE HOFILEA HOSPITAL FOR THE UTILIZATION OF ITS AMBULANCE SERVICES, WITH A FURTHER REQUEST FOR AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO THE SAME, WITH AN ADVICE THAT BOTH PARTIES SHALL FURTHER DELIBERATE AND FINALIZE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROPOSED AGREEMENT"
WHEREAS, the Office of the Honorable City Mayor has transmitted for appropriate legislative authority the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to be entered into by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the Hofilea Hospital for the utilization of its ambulance services in support of the City Government's emergency and health response operations;
WHEREAS, this body, in support of the findings of the concerned Committee, to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial investigation, that certain provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement require further deliberation and finalization such as, but not limited to, operational arrangements, financial responsibilities, scope of services, and other implementing details, deems it appropriate to provide both parties the opportunity to mutually agree on the terms and conditions of the proposed MOA prior to its formal execution, hence, this passage;
NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it
RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Honorable City Mayor the draft Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) to be entered into by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the Hofilea Hospital for the utilization of its ambulance services, with a further request for authority to enter into the same, with an advice that both parties shall further deliberate and finalize the terms and conditions of the proposed agreement.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Legal Officer; and to the City Health Officer, all of this city, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
