RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0386 (Sponsored by: Committee on Planning, Landed Estates, Housing and Urban/Rural Community Development) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DONATE, BY WAY OF A DEED OF DONATION, A CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS PORTION OF LOT NO. 223, COVERED BY TAX DECLARATION NO. 2019-001561 AND PROPERTY INDEX NO. 159-2002-016-2004-079, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 1,003.51 SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY DAO, PAGADIAN CITY, TOGETHER WITH THE NEW FUNCTIONAL BUILDING AND ALL IMPROVEMENTS THEREON, IN FAVOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES-REGIONAL OFFICE IX" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought authority from the Sangguniang Panlungsod to donate in favor of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Regional Office IX, a City Government-owned parcel of lot known as portion of Lot No. 223, covered by Tax Declaration No. 2019-001561 and Property Index No. 159-2002-016-2004-079, containing an area of 1,003.51 square meters, situated in Barangay Dao, this City, together with the new functional building and all improvements thereon; WHEREAS, this body, in support of the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-deems it appropriate and in order to clothe the City Chief Executive with the necessary authority to execute and sign the foregoing deed for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to donate, by way of a Deed of Donation, a City Government-owned parcel of land known as portion of Lot No. 223, covered by Tax Declaration No. 2019-001561 and Property Index No. 159-2002-016-2004-079, containing an area of 1,003.51 square meters, situated at Barangay Dao, Pagadian City, together with the new functional building and all improvements thereon, in favor of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Regional Office IX. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to the DENR-Regional Office IX, through OIC-Regional Executive Director Marie Angelique C. Go, President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center, Barangay Balintawak, this city, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
