A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OFFICER (CRTMO) TO REGULARLY DEPLOY AT LEAST ONE (1) TRAFFIC ENFORCER AND TO INTEGRATE BARANGAY TANODS AS TRAFFIC AUXILIARIES IN THE VICINITY OF THE PAGADIAN CITY SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL, TUBURAN CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND PAGADIAN CAPITOL COLLEGE, INCORPORATED, ALL IN BARANGAY TUBURAN, DURING PEAK DISMISSAL HOURS FROM MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS EVERY 4:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M. PURPOSELY TO MANAGE THE ORDERLY FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN THE AFORE-MENTIONED AREAS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF THE STUDENTS THEREAT

"A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OFFICER (CRTMO) TO REGULARLY DEPLOY AT LEAST ONE (1) TRAFFIC ENFORCER AND TO INTEGRATE BARANGAY TANODS AS TRAFFIC AUXILIARIES IN THE VICINITY OF THE PAGADIAN CITY SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL, TUBURAN CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND PAGADIAN CAPITOL COLLEGE, INCORPORATED, ALL IN BARANGAY TUBURAN, DURING PEAK DISMISSAL HOURS FROM MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS EVERY 4:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M. PURPOSELY TO MANAGE THE ORDERLY FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN THE AFORE-MENTIONED AREAS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF THE STUDENTS THEREAT"

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Tuburan, faced with inadequate and underserved traffic management support, was constrained to enact an ordinance in response to the persistent lack of presence of city traffic authorities in the high-volume school zones, thereby leaving such areas without sufficient professional traffic oversight; 

	WHEREAS, consistent with the city government's prior action recognizing the limitation of barangay authority over national highways, and the lack of the necessary influence to command compliance from the motoring public, hence, there is a compelling need to commission the City Road Traffic Management Officer to regularly assign at least one (1) traffic enforcer in the afore-cited areas during weekdays from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M to manage the flow of traffic for the safety and welfare of the students, in particular,  and the public, in general; 
	NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Bienvenido C. Culve, be it
RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Road Traffic Management Officer (CRTMO) to regularly deploy at least one (1) traffic enforcer and to integrate barangay tanods as traffic auxiliaries in the vicinity of the Pagadian City Science High School, Tuburan Central Elementary School, and Pagadian Capitol College, Incorporated, all in Barangay Tuburan, during peak dismissal hours from Mondays to Fridays every 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. purposely to manage the orderly flow of traffic in the afore-mentioned areas to ensure the safety and protection of the students thereat.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Honorable City Mayor, the Head-City Road Traffic Management Office (CRTMO), and the Barangay Council of Tuburan, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
