RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0337 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF ATTY. ROXAN DESIREE T. ORTALEZA-TAN AS CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD I (CITY ADMINISTRATOR), EFFECTIVE MARCH 01, 2026" WHEREAS, Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co appointed Atty. Roxan Desiree T. Ortaleza-Tan as City Government Department Head I, with specific designation of City Administrator, effective March 1, 2026, and the appointment papers were submitted to this august body for confirmation as required by pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the body, after preliminary scrutiny of the appointment and pertinent documents submitted with reference to the provisions of Republic Act 7160 and the subsequent evaluation of the appointee's qualification and fitness to handle the responsibilities of the office, found the appointee highly qualified and deserving of the position, hence this confirmation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the appointment of Atty. Roxan Desiree T. Ortaleza-Tan as City Government Department Head I (City Administrator), effective March 1, 2026. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Provincial Director, Civil Service Commission through the City Human Resource Management Office; to Atty. Roxan Desiree T. Ortaleza-Tan; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
