RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0319 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Commerce, Trade & Industry & Economic Enterprise & Cooperatives; Committee on Agriculture and Fishery) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO RECONSTITUTE AND OPERATIONALIZE THE LOCAL PRICE COORDINATING COUNCIL (LPCC) OF PAGADIAN CITY AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, NAMELY: REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY (NFA), DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (DOJ), DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (DENR), DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA), DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH), COUNCILORS LANCE SAMUEL F. CO AND RONALD CHRISTOPHER GLENN L. ARIOSA, AS MEMBERS" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of an Executive Order, series of 2025, constituted the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) of Pagadian City; WHEREAS, due to the armed conflict in the middle east which resulted in the global surge of petroleum products, the inevitable increase in the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities cannot be underemphasized, such that the application of the whole-of-the-government approach to the current situation is most appropriate thus the reconstitution of the City's Local Price Coordinating Council to include all sectors and its immediate operationalization is in order; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to reconstitute and operationalize the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) of Pagadian City and include the following, namely: Representatives from the National Food Authority (NFA), Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of the Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Health (DOH), Councilors Lance Samuel F. Co and Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, as members. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for information, reference and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
