RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0296 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation and Committee on Finance & Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO GRANT A MONTHLY ALLOWANCE OF FIVE THOUSAND (P5,000.00) PESOS FOR EACH CLERK OF COURT AND BRANCH CLERK OF COURT OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT STATIONED AND/OR ASSIGNED IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN, CHARGEABLE AGAINST APPROPRIATE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT" WHEREAS, Article 99, Paragraph 1 (xi), Rule XVII of the Rules and Regulations implementing the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that, when the finances of the City Government allows, provide additional allowances and other benefits to judges, prosecutors, public elementary and high school teachers, and other national government officials stationed in or assigned to the city; WHEREAS, given the foregoing provision and, in consideration of the rising cost of living, the City Government-given its finances so warrants-deems it imperatively necessary to grant all Clerks of Court and Branch Clerks of Courts of the Regional Trial Courts stationed/assigned in the city with a P5,000.00 monthly allowance; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to grant a monthly allowance of Five Thousand (P5,000.00) Pesos for each Clerk of Court and Branch Clerk of Court of the Regional Trial Court stationed and/or assigned in the City of Pagadian, chargeable against appropriate fund sources of the City Government. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Budget Officer; to the City Accountant; to the City Treasurer; to the City Auditor; and to the Executive Judge, Honorable Romeo T. Descallar, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
