"A RESOLUTION CREATING THE CULTURAL INVENTORY OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND FORMALLY ENDORSING THE SAME TO THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS (NCCA) TO FORM PART OF THE PHILIPPINE REGISTRY OF CULTURAL PROPERTY (PRECUP)"
WHEREAS, consistent with Section 14 (b) and (c) and Section 16 of Republic Act No. 10066, otherwise known as the "National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009," the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) issued Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01 which, in gist, enjoined all Local Government Units to establish and maintain a local inventory of cultural property which shall form part of the PRECUP;
WHEREAS, in compliance thereto, the City Government of Pagadian is collaboration with the NCCA for the conduct of a local cultural mapping project in the City of Pagadian purposely to gather information and data on the city's significant natural heritage and cultural properties, thus the need to create and establish a Cultural Inventory of the City of Pagadian and formally endorsing the same to the NCCA to form part of the Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP), hence, this passage;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it
RESOLVED to create, as this body hereby creates the Cultural Inventory of the City of Pagadian and formally endorsing the same to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) to form part of the Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP), which shall consists of the following properties, to wit:
