A RESOLUTION URGING THE MANAGEMENT OF PAMANA WATER CORPORATION TO URGENTLY IMPLEMENT IN FULL ITEM NO. 10 OF THE LISTED KEY INDICATORS FOR PROJECTS FOR YEAR 1 OF PHASE 1--PURCHASE OF STAND-BY POWER GENERATOR SETS FOR INSTALLATION AT THE EXISTING MAIN DEEP WELL PUMPING STATIONS LOCATED IN THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN--AS STIPULATED IN THE JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT (JVA) ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE PCWD AND THE PAMANA WATER CORPORATION

"A RESOLUTION URGING THE MANAGEMENT OF PAMANA WATER CORPORATION TO URGENTLY IMPLEMENT IN FULL ITEM NO. 10 OF THE LISTED KEY INDICATORS FOR PROJECTS FOR YEAR 1 OF PHASE 1--PURCHASE OF STAND-BY POWER GENERATOR SETS FOR INSTALLATION AT THE EXISTING MAIN DEEP WELL PUMPING STATIONS LOCATED IN THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN--AS STIPULATED IN THE JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT (JVA) ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE PCWD AND THE PAMANA WATER CORPORATION"
WHEREAS, this august body expressed great desire to initiate appropriate action to ascertain the continuous supply of potable water to every household considering that water is very vital and essential to the very existence of all human beings as well as its needs; 
WHEREAS, observation has it that the main deep well pumping stations established in various areas of the city are entirely dependent on electricity such that whenever power outage occurs, the supply of potable water will automatically cease and discontinue thereby directly affecting every household and establishment in the city; 
WHEREAS, in an effort to correct the foregoing situation and to ensure continuous and uninterrupted water supply, this body, taking into account the provisions stipulated in the Joint Venture Agreement entered into by the PCWD and the PAMANA Water Corporation, deems it necessary to urgently purchase and install the required stand-by generator sets for use in all deep well pumping stations in the city, hence, this passage;
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Maphilindo Q. Obaob, be it
RESOLVED to urge, as this body hereby urges the management of PAMANA Water Corporation to urgently implement in full Item No. 10 of the listed key indicators for Projects for Year 1 of Phase 1--purchase of stand-by generator sets for installation at the existing main deep well pumping stations located in the different areas of the City of Pagadian--as stipulated in the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) entered into by and between the PCWD and the Pamana Water Corporation.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to a let copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Manager Engr. Viviel B. Ramirez, PAMANA Water Corporation, this city, for information and appropriate action; and to the Honorable City Mayor, for support.
