RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0276 (Sponsored by: Committee on Good Government, Ethics & Civil Service) "A RESOLUTION CREATING AN AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION PERTAINING TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE LIABILITY OF BARANGAY KAGAWAD DEXTER U. MACADILDIG OF BARANGAY TUBURAN, THIS CITY, WHO HAVE BEEN FOUND AND CONFIRMED POSITIVE FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USE DURING THE MANDATORY DRUG TESTING FOR ALL BARANGAY ELECTIVE OFFICIALS, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMPOSITION, NAMELY: HONORABLE JACKIELYN KRYSTYL C. BANA, IN HER CAPACITY AS CHAIRPERSON OF THE SP COMMITTEE ON GOOD GOVERNMENT, ETHICS AND CIVIL SERVICE; AND MEMBERS-HONORABLE MAPHILINDO Q. OBAOB AND HONORABLE BIENVENIDO C. CULVE" WHEREAS, this body is in receipt of information and supporting documents relative to the positive drug test result of Barangay Kagawad Dexter U. Macadildig of Barangay Tuburan this City; WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 60 and 61 of Republic Act No. 7160, elective local officials may be administratively disciplined on grounds provided by law, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod is vested with the authority to investigate and hear administrative complaints against elective barangay officials within its jurisdiction; WHEREAS, this body, consistent with the provisions of City Ordinance No. 2016-362 more particularly Paragraph (e), Section 6 of Rule 3 thereof, mandates the Chairman of the Committee on Good Government, Ethics and Civil Service to report to the Sanggunian the existence of an administrative complaint for the creation of the Ad Hoc committee of three who will take care of the preliminary investigation, in support of the recommendation of the concerned Committee, deems it imperative to create and organize the Ad Hoc Committee for the purpose of conducting preliminary investigation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to create, as this body hereby creates an Ad Hoc Committee for the purpose of conducting preliminary investigation pertaining to the positive drug test result of Barangay Kagawad Dexter U. Macadildig of Barangay Tuburan, this City, with the following composition, to wit: Chairman : Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C.
