RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0261 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH OPERATIONAL MEASURES IMPLEMENTED BY THE CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF THE PHILIPPINES (CAAP) WITHIN THE PAGADIAN CITY AIRPORT FOR THE BENEFIT AND GUIDANCE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC" WHEREAS, the Pagadian City Airport serves as a key gateway for travelers and commerce, playing a vital role in connecting the city with neighboring municipalities and cities, and it has been observed that there is a pressing need to strengthen the dissemination of information regarding the newly adopted operational measures implemented by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) within the premises of the Pagadian City Airport to ensure greater compliance and awareness not only within the city but also across the surrounding municipalities and cities; WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod recognizes the importance of information dissemination to keep the public abreast of the policies, rules and regulations inside the Pagadian City Airport more particularly on the regulations governing the parking of vehicles; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Hon. Ariel J. Lim, Jr. be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to provide assistance in the dissemination of information to ensure compliance with operational measures implemented by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) within the Pagadian City Airport for the benefit and guidance of the general public, more particularly on the matters specified hereunder, viz: Upon entry at the Pagadian City Airport, there shall be collected the amount of P50.00 as parking; There shall be a 15-minute grace period free parking for all entering vehicles purposely for drop-off and pick-up of passengers. It is highly recommended to the management of the Pagadian City Airport to utilize a digital time-stamping system to ensure accurate computation of the parking period and to promote transparency and compliance. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the Acting Airport Manager Atty. Ralph Kevin B. Canton; and CAAP Business Development Division-Acting Chief Atty. Celyn J. Cemine-Mapula; and all other offices concerned, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
