RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0250 (Sponsored by: Honorable Maphilindo Q. Obaob) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HIS HONOR, CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO, TO DIRECT ALL CONCERNED OFFICES/DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN TO IMMEDIATELY INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONARY AND/OR CORRECTIVE INTERVENTIONS ALONG B.F. ARAO AVENUE PARTICULARLY THE PORTION WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF BARANGAY BANALE AND BARANGAY BALINTAWAK AS A MEASURE TO PREEMPT ANY VEHICULAR INCIDENT" WHEREAS, concern over the dangerous and risky condition of the road along B.F. Arao Avenue more particularly the portion within the boundary of Barangays Banale and Balintawak cannot be understated as it has caused this august body to be apprehensive and alarmed; WHEREAS, the current situation, per observation, is further aggravated by the unabated practice of privately-owned vehicles to park along the roadside which thereby increases the hazard of vehicular accidents; WHEREAS, in view thereof, this body, in line with the City Government's thrust and mandate to ensure the protection, safety and welfare of the constituents, deems it urgently necessary for the City Government to immediately institute appropriate corrective interventions thereat, hence, this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Maphilindo Q. Obaob, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as this body hereby earnestly requests His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, to direct the all concerned offices/department of the City Government of Pagadian to immediately institute appropriate precautionary or corrective interventions along B.F. Arao Avenue particularly the portion within the boundary of Barangay Banale and Barangay Balintawak as a measure to preempt any vehicular incident. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and all other offices concerned, for their reference, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
