RESOLUTION NO. 2026-0237 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE SUPPORT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF PAGADIAN FOR THE PROPOSED PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY PROJECT AND COMMITTING TO CERTAIN UNDERTAKING NECESSARY FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION AND SUSTAINABILITY" WHEREAS, the Pagadian City Infirmary Project has been proposed to improve and strengthen the delivery of health services in the City of Pagadian; WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pagadian recognizes the importance of adequate, accessible, and quality health facilities for the welfare of its constituents; WHEREAS, the successful implementation and sustainability of the project require the commitment and cooperation of the LGU, particularly in terms of site readiness, human resources, operations, and continuity of services; WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit is willing to provide the necessary support and assistance to ensure the timely implementation and continuous operation of the proposed health facility; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED, that the Local Government of Pagadian; Expresses its full support for the implementation of the proposed Pagadian City Infirmary Project within its jurisdiction; Commits to shoulder the demolition works, if applicable, of existing structures within the project site to ensure the proper implementation of the project, subject to existing laws, rules and regulations; Commits to provide additional Human Resources for Health (HRH), as may be necessary, to ensure that the health facility shall be fully operational within at least three (3) months upon turnover of the completed facility; Confirms the availability of land, if applicable, that is suitable for the project, free from legal encumbrances, and compliant with relevant land use and zoning regulations; Expresses its commitment to support the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements of the facility to ensure its sustainability and continued delivery of health services; Commits to provide a temporary facility, if applicable, to ensure the continuity of health operations and uninterrupted delivery of health services during construction, renovations, or transition periods; RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the Honorable City Mayor; the City Health Officer; and to all concerned offices and agencies for their information, reference, and appropriate action.
