"A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF STA. MARIA, THIS CITY, ITS BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 01, S. 2025, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE NEGLECTION OF BARANGAY SERVED SUMMONS FOR THE INTENTIONAL ACTION AND VIOLATING THE KATARUNGAN PAMBARANGAY JUSTICE SYSTEM PROCEEDING IN RELATION TO R.A. 7160 KNOWN AS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991 CITED AS KATARUNGAN PAMBARANGAY JUSTICE SYSTEM", WITH A FURTHER ADVISE TO INSTITUTE REVISIONS/AMENDMENTS THERETO TO CONFORM WITH NATIONAL AND LOCAL LAWS"

 WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Sta. Maria, this city, pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991," transmitted to this august body its Barangay Ordinance No. 01, s. 2025 entitled: "An Ordinance shall be known as the neglection of barangay served summons for the intentional action and violating the Katarungan Pambarangay Justice System Proceeding in relation to R.A. 7160 known as the Local Government Code of 1991 cited as Katarungan Pambarangay Justice System", for review and confirmation; 

WHEREAS, the Committee on Barangay Affairs, to which the foregoing concern was referred for initial consideration, recommended that the same be remanded to the concerned Barangay Council, without action, for the institution of necessary revisions/amendments thereto as specified in its Committee Report No. 095, which recommendation merited the unanimous support of the body; 
 NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Joan Szanne S. Pulmones, be it
 RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Sta. Maria, this city, its Barangay Ordinance No. 01, s. 2025 entitled: "An Ordinance shall be known as the neglection of barangay served summons for the intentional action and violating the Katarungan Pambarangay Justice System Proceeding in relation to R.A. 7160 known as the Local Government Code of 1991 cited as Katarungan Pambarangay Justice System", with a further advise to institute revisions/amendments thereto to conform with national and local laws.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Sta. Maria through its Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
