RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1114 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Planning and Landed Estates and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR THE ENDORSED PRO-FORMA ORDINANCE MANDATING THE PERMANENT CLOSURE OF THE DEAD-END NORTHERN-MOST PORTION OF SALERA STREET-A PORTION ADJACENT TO GATAS CREEK-FOR ITS PROPOSED USE AS SITE OF BARANGAY GATAS HALL AND DAY CARE CENTER, PENDING PROPER COORDINATION WITH THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE" 1 WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor has transmitted to the Sangguniang Panlungsod a pro-forma Ordinance, entitled: "An Ordinance Mandating the Permanent Closure of the Dead-End Northern-Most Portion of Salera Street (A Portion Adjacent to the Gatas Creek), Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City, for the same portion be devoted for the use of the Barangay Gatas Hall and Day Care Center, among other barangay facilities;" WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation, this body, in light of the information provided by the concerned Joint Committees-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-that the request is deficient of pertinent documents necessary to support the approval of the same, finds it more prudent to remand the matter without prejudice to the resubmission of the same request with an attached pertinent documents as recommended by the Joint Committees through its Joint Committee Report No. 450; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to remand, without action, to the Honorable City Mayor the endorsed pro-forma ordinance mandating the permanent closure of the dead-end northern-most portion of Salera street-a portion adjacent to Gatas Creek-for its proposed use as a site for Barangay Gatas Hall and Day Care Center, pending proper coordination with the City Engineer's Office. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, to the City Legal Officer and to the Barangay Government Unit of Gatas through its Punong Barangay, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
