RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1026 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO--IN HIS CONCURRING CAPACITY AS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE PAGADIAN CITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE (PCIC)--TO RENEW AND SIGN THE CONTRACT OF AFFILIATION WITH THE MARGOSATUBIG REGIONAL HOSPITAL (MRH) IN RELATION TO THE AFFILIATION AND TRAINING OF MIDWIFERY STUDENTS OF PCIC WITH THE SAID HOSPITAL" WHEREAS, in compliance with the requirements for the completion of the educational learning on Midwifery, the Pagadian City International College (PCIC) and the Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) had previously entered into a Contract of Affiliation purposely for the affiliation/training of the former's Midwifery students with the said medical institution; WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, in view of the expiration of the Contract of Affiliation previously entered into by and between the Pagadian City International College (PCIC) and Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) and considering the need to further extend such affiliation-sought for authority to renew the said contract for a period of three (3) years; WHEREAS, this body finds the request meritorious and worthy of support, hence, granting the City Chief Executive with the required authority to enter into such Contract of Affiliation is imperative; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co--in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pagadian City International College (PCIC)--to renew and sign the Contract of Affiliation with the Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) in relation to the affiliation and training of midwifery students of PCIC with the said hospital. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the PCIC Board of Trustees, for favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to Ms. Maricor A. Marquez, PhD., College President-PCIC; and to Dr. Jover C. Punsalan, FPOA, FPSS, MSHHM, Chief of Medical Professional Staff I, OIC-Medical Center Chief II, Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
