RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1024 (Sponsor: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A SERVICE CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH THE INTERNATIONAL ELEVATOR & EQUIPMENT, INCORPORATED, FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF MITSUBISHI ELEVATORS AND ESCALATORS AT THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3), SANTIAGO DISTRICT, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, cognizant of the importance of ensuring the safety, efficiency, and proper maintenance of all elevators and escalators installed at the City Commercial Center, had engaged the services and expertise of the International Elevator & Equipment, Incorporated-through a Contract of Service Agreement; WHEREAS, in order to hasten the pursuance of the foregoing agreement, there is thus a need for the formal forging of an agreement between the International Elevator and Equipment, Incorporated and the City Government of Pagadian where the specific terms, conditions and responsibilities of the concerned parties are stipulated, for which a request for authority to enter into such deed is being sought by the Honorable City Mayor; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation, this body, finding importance and urgency, deems it cogently necessary to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formalization of such Contract; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Service Contract Agreement with the International Elevator & Equipment, Incorporated, for the Maintenance of Mitsubishi Elevators and Escalators at the City Commercial Center (C3), Santiago District, this City. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable action; to the City Legal Officer; and to Mr. Yurkin H. Mahometano, Manager, Elevator & Escalator Division, Visayas & Mindanao, Branch Officer, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
