RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1017 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SIGN THE ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT OF LEASE TO BE ENTERED INTO BY AND AMONG THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, REFERRED TO AS THE LESSOR, THE PHILIPPINE STATISTICS AUTHORITY (PSA), REFERRED TO AS THE LESSEE, AND THE UNISYS MANAGED SERVICES CORPORATION, REFERRED TO AS THE PAYOR, RELATIVE TO THE RENTAL OF AN OFFICE SPACE AT THE THIRD FLOOR OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) BUILDING, SITUATED AT SANTIAGO DISTRICT, THIS CITY, MORE PARTICULARLY STALL NOS. R-20 TO R-30 AND R-36 TO R-42 INCLUDING ITS HALLWAYS, CONTAINING AN AGGREGATE FLOOR AREA OF THREE HUNDRED SIXTEEN (316) SQUARE METERS" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) entered into a Contract of Lease for stall numbers R-20 to R-30 and R-36 to R-42 including its hallway situated at the 3rd floor of the City Commercial Center (C3) Building, containing an area of 316 square meters; WHEREAS, just recently, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, forwarded to this Sanggunian the draft addendum to the above-mentioned Contract of Lease where both the Lessor and the Lessee have agreed to include the UNISYS MANAGED SERVICES CORPORATION-a domestic corporation duly organized under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines-as the Payor as well as to supplement certain terms and conditions of the said Contract, with a further request for an authority to enter into the same; WHEREAS, in consideration of the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-this body, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing request, deems it appropriate and in order to grant the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of the foregoing deed; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to execute and sign the Addendum to Contract of Lease to be entered into by and among the City Government of Pagadian, referred to as the Lessor, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), referred to as the Lessee, and the UNISYS MANAGED SERVICES CORPORATION, referred to as the Payor, relative to the rental of an office space at the Third Floor of the City Commercial Center (C3) Building, situated at Santiago District, this city, more particularly Stall Nos. R-20 to R-30 and R-36 to R-42, including its hallways, containing an aggregate floor area of Three Hundred Sixteen (316) Square Meters. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable action; the City Legal Officer; Regional Director Mewchun W.S. Pamaran, Philippine Statistics Authority, PSA Complex, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City; and the Logistics Manager, Mr. Carmelo T.
