RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0969 (Sponsored: Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF FIVE (5) UNITS MOTOR VEHICLE (PICK-UP TYPE) TO THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE (PNP), REPRESENTED BY CHIEF PNP-PGEN ROMMEL FRANCISCO D. MARBIL-AND, FOR THE PURPOSE, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SIGN THE FOREGOING DEED OF DONATION RELATIVE THERETO WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS SPECIFIED HEREUNDER" WHEREAS, consistent with its mandate to ensure the safety and security of the people of the city, the City Government of Pagadian, in an effort to augment the capability of the local PNP to effectively and efficiently maintain the city's peace and order situation, is contemplating to donate five (5) motor vehicles (pick-up type) in favor of the Philippine National Police for the exclusive use of the Pagadian City Police Station; WHEREAS, in relation thereto, the Honorable City Mayor has sought for legislative authority to donate the afore-said vehicles, which request, after finding no legal impediment thereto, the body deems it appropriate to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of such Deed of Donation, subject to certain conditions which shall be duly incorporated into the said deed; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation of five (5) units motor vehicle (pick-up type) to the Philippine National Police (PNP), represented by Chief PNP-PGEN Rommel Francisco D. Marbil-and, for the purpose, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to execute and sign the foregoing Deed of Donation relative thereto subject, however, to the following conditions which shall be incorporated in the said deed, to wit: a. That the donated motor vehicles shall be used exclusively by the Pagadian City Police Station for its official functions related to maintaining peace and order within the territorial jurisdiction of the City of Pagadian; b. That the Donee shall be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the donated vehicles; c. That the donated motor vehicles shall be properly marked with "Donated by the City Government of Pagadian;" and d. That the donated motor vehicles shall not be transferred nor reassigned, in whatever mode of conveyances, to any person(s) or government/private agencies. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; to PGen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Chief PNP; to PLTCOL Jerwin SD. Cagurin; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
