RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0219 (Sponsored by: Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT AND RELEASE OF GRATUITY PAY TO ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025 WHOSE SERVICES ARE ENGAGED THROUGH CONTRACT OF SERVICE AT THE RATE OF SEVEN THOUSAND PESOS (P7,000.00) EACH" WHEREAS, Section 5 of Administrative Order No. 39, dated December 11, 2025, issued by the President of the Philippines, authorizes Local Government Units to grant Gratuity Pay for Fiscal Year 2025 at a uniform amount not exceeding Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00) to all employees whose services are engaged through Contract of Service (COS), subject to the budgetary condition that the grant shall be within the Personal Services limitations under Sections 325(a) and 331(b) of RA 7160; WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in recognition of the collective and dedicated participation of its Contract of Service Personnel, acknowledges the significant contributions in supporting the present administration's continuing efforts toward the establishment of streamlined government processes and more responsive delivery of more efficient and responsive public services; WHEREAS, in view thereof, and in faithful adherence to existing laws, rules and regulations, this body deems it appropriate and in order to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to grant Gratuity Pay to each qualified City Government employees whose services are engaged through Contract of Service, in the amount of P7,000.00 as authorized by Administrative Order No. 39; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the grant and release of gratuity pay to all employees of the City Government for Fiscal Year 2025 whose services are engaged through contract of service at the rate of Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00) each. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished the Honorable City Mayor, the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer, and the City Auditor, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
