RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0198 (Sponsored by: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ACCEPT, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DONATION OF ONE (1) DIALYSIS MACHINE; ONE (1) ELECTRIC DIALYSIS CHAIR; ONE (1) ULTRASOUND MACHINE FOR MOBILE CLINIC; ONE (1) X-RAY MACHINE FOR MOBILE CLINIC AND FIFTY-FOUR (54) PORTABLE DOPPLER DEVICE, FROM THE LATTER-DAY SAINTS CHARITIES-PHILIPPINES, INCORPORATED, SUBJECT HOWEVER, TO THE CONDITION STIPULATED HEREUNDER" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter-request, sought authority from the Sangguniang Panlungsod to accept the donation from the Latter-Day Saints Charities-Philippines, Incorporated-a recognized humanitarian organization-relative to the following medical equipment, to wit: One (1) Dialysis Machine One (1) Electric Dialysis Chair One (1) Ultrasound Machine for Mobile Clinic One (1) X-Ray Machine for Mobile Clinic Fifty-Four (54) Portable Doppler Device WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of the foregoing endeavor, the body, finding the request to be more beneficial and advantageous for the people of Pagadian, deems it imperatively necessary to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to accept the donation in favor of the City Government of Pagadian subject to certain condition; NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., duly seconded, be it; RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to accept, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Donation of One (1) Dialysis Machine; One (1) Electric Dialysis Chair; One (1) Ultrasound Machine for Mobile Clinic; One (1) X-ray Machine for Mobile Clinic and Fifty-Four (54) Portable Doppler Device, from the Latter-Day Saints Charities-Philippines, Incorporated, subject however, to the condition that the City Government shall, either prior or simultaneous on the effectivity of the foregoing deed, hire or contract the services of the following medical personnel to ensure an efficient and effective utilization of the above-mentioned medical instruments, viz: Radiologist; Ultrasonographers; Nephrologist or Internal Medicine Specialist for dialysis; and Twenty-two (22) additional Nurses or Midwives to complement the 22 barangays who have no assigned nurse or midwife to operate the donated portable Doppler Device. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable action; to the City Legal Officer; to Mr. Anthony John Balledos, Country Director, Latter-Day Saints Charities-Philippines, Incorporated, with address at Mezzanine Floor, Manila Philippines Administrative Office, Temple Drive Corner White Plains Avenue, Greenmeadows Subdivision, Quezon City, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
