RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0197 (Sponsored by: Ad Hoc Committee) "A RESOLUTION CONVERTING THE 15TH CITY COUNCIL INTO A COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE PURPOSELY TO HEAR AND TRY SP ADMIN CASE NO. 003-2025, ENTITLED: JOHN M. CAJOTE, ET. AL., VERSUS PUNONG BARANGAY PRINCE JOY I. GERONA OF BARANGAY LENIENZA, FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, MISCONDUCT AND ABUSE OF AUTHORITY IN VIOLATION OF SECTION 60 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OR THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES" WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Committee-a duly created special committee pursuant to Sub-Paragraph (e) of Section 6, Rule 3 of City Ordinance No. 2016, otherwise known as the "Rule of Procedures in the Conduct of Administrative Investigation Against Elective Barangay Officials-after finding probable cause in the afore-mentioned administrative complaint to warrant the pursuance of trial proper, recommends for the conversion of the body into a Committee of the Whole purposely to hear and try the same; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and consideration, the body concurs with the committee's recommendation, hence, this passage; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to convert, as this body hereby converts the 15th City Council into a Committee of the Whole purposely to hear and try SP Admin Case No. 003-2025, entitled: John M. Cajote, et. al., versus Punong Barangay Prince Joy I. Gerona of Barangay Lenienza, for Dereliction of Duty, Gross Negligence, Misconduct and Abuse of Authority in Violation of Section 60 of the Local Government Code or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
