RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0177 (Sponsored by: Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana) "A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE PARTICIPATION/ATTENDANCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE 15TH CITY COUNCIL TO THE 2ND CONTINUING LOCAL LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM (CLLEP) AND REGIONAL AWARDING OF LOCAL LEGISLATIVE AWARD AND YEAR-END ASSEMBLY OF THE PHILIPPINE COUNCILOR'S LEAGUE FOR THE TERM 2025-2028 ON DECEMBER 1-3, 2025, AT LAPU-LAPU CITY, CEBU, AS AN OFFICIAL UNDERTAKING OF THE BODY IN LIEU OF ITS SCHEDULED SESSION FOR THE WEEK THEREBY, IN EFFECT, SCHEDULING THE 19TH REGULAR SESSION TO DECEMBER 10, 2025" WHEREAS, pursuant to the Memorandum from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), dated August 7, 2025, all, if not majority, of the members of the 15th City Council are scheduled to attend and participate in the 2nd Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP) and Regional Awarding of the Local Legislative Award and Year-End Assembly with the theme: "Strengthening Local Legislation Through Inclusive and Participatory Governance, which will be held on December 1-3, 2025, at Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu; WHEREAS, considering the foregoing activity to be equally important and with great bearing particularly on the discharge of the official duties and responsibilities of local legislators, hence, the body deems necessary to consider the said activity as an official undertaking which therefore will necessitate the setting of the 19th Regular Session to December 10, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to consider, as this body hereby considers the participation/attendance of the members of the 15th City Council to the 2nd Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP) and Regional Awarding of the Local Legislative Award and Year-End Assembly of the Philippine Councilor's League for the term 2025-2028 on December 1-3, 2025, at Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, as an official undertaking of the body in lieu of its scheduled session for the week thereby, in effect, scheduling the 19th Regular Session to December 10, 2025. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
