RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0163 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and Committee on Planning and Landed Estates) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, A DEED OF EXCHANGE INVOLVING A CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 1, BLOCK 40, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 5,500 SQUARE METERS LOCATED NEAR THE REGIONAL CENTER, BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, AND A PRIVATELY-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 5881-L-2-B, PSD-09-062509, COVERED BY TCT NO. T-45,628, REGISTERED IN THE NAME OF MS. JULIETA N. PALLER, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 5,212 SQUARE METERS, LOCATED WITHIN THE 80-HECTARE REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, PAGADIAN CITY" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian is the registered owner of a parcel of land identified as Lot No. 1, Block 40, containing an area of 5,500 square meters, situated near the Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this city, which was offered for conveyance to a privately-owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 5881-L-2-B, PSD-09-062509, covered by TCT No. T-45,628, registered in the name of Ms. Julieta N. Paller, with an area of 5,212 square meters, situated within the 80-hectare Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak--which offer was accepted by the private owner; WHEREAS, to ensure the successful pursuance of the foregoing endeavor, there is thus a need for the formal forging of a Deed of Exchange by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the lot owner, Ms. Julieta N. Paller, such that an authority to enter into such deed has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor--which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body in conformity with the recommendation of the concerned Committees; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to execute and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, a Deed of Exchange involving a City Government-owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 1, Block 40, containing an area of 5,500 square meters, located near the Regional Center, Barangay Balintawak, this city, and a privately-owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 5881-L-2-B, PSD-09-062509, covered by TCT No. T-45,628, registered in the name of Ms. Julieta N. Paller, containing an area of 5,212 square meters, located within the 80-hectare Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, this city, for his appropriate action; to the City Legal Office; and to Ms. Julieta N. Paller, Barangay Balintawak, this city, for their information. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
