RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0158 (Sponsored by: Committee on Barangay Affairs) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 1, S, 2025 FROM THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF STA. LUCIA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL HOUSEHOLDS' OWNERS OR OCCUPANTS, BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS, SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES AND GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALL OTHER PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SERVICE SHOPS AND OFFICES AND ALL RESIDENTS AS WELL TO OBSERVE THE "TAPAT KO LINIS KO ORDINANCE" AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES HEREOF" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Sta. Lucia, this city, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 1, s. 2025, entitled: "An Ordinance requiring all households' owners or occupants, business establishments, schools and colleges and government offices, all other public and private service shops and offices and all residents as well to observe the "Tapat Ko Linis Ko Ordinance" and prescribing penalties hereof", and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for review and confirmation pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committee on Barangay Affairs, to which the foregoing Barangay Ordinance was referred for review, found the same in order in form and is consistent with the powers delegated to the Sangguniang Barangay thus, the recommendation to confirm the foregoing measure is supported and concurred by the body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Joan Szanne S. Pulmones, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 1, s. 2025, from the Barangay Council of Sta. Lucia, entitled: "An Ordinance Requiring All Households' Owners Or Occupants, Business Establishments, Schools And Colleges And Government Offices, All Other Public And Private Service Shops And Offices And All Residents As Well To Observe The "Tapat Ko Linis Ko Ordinance" And Prescribing Penalties Hereof." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Sta. Lucia, through the Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
