RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0123 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) BOARD, AS ENUNCIATED IN ITS BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 001-2005 WHICH, IN GIST, PROVIDES FOR A DISCOUNTED RATE FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE AIR-CONDITIONING CHILLER IN THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) AT FIFTY PESOS (P50.00) PER SQUARE METER, PROVIDED HOWEVER, THAT THE DISCOUNTED RATE SHALL CEASE TO TAKE EFFECT UPON THE RESTORATION AND FULL OPERATIONAL STATUS OF THE AIR-CONDITIONING CHILLER SYSTEM IN THE C3" WHEREAS, concern over the state of the air-conditioning chiller system inside the City Commercial Center which is seemingly not functioning efficiently and has, accordingly, caused discomfort not only to the C3 occupants but also to all patrons, the City Commercial Center (C3) Board, during its Board Meeting held on 14 October 2025, adopted Resolution No. 001-2025 which, in gist, recommended to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod the new discounted rate for the aircon chiller at the amount of P50.00 per square meter until said machine will be fully repaired, functional and operational; WHEREAS, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing concern, this body, recognizing the necessity of adopting a fair and reasonable rate adjustment in view of the present non-optimal operation of the air-conditioning chiller system in the C3 and, finding no legal impediment thereto, deems it prim and proper to approve the recommendation, with a proviso that the discounted rate shall only be effective until such time the air-conditioning chiller system in the C3 shall be fully functional and operational; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the recommendation of the City Commercial Center (C3) Board, as enunciated in its Board Resolution No. 001-2025 which, in gist, provide for a discounted rate for the payment of the air-conditioning chiller in the City Commercial Center (C3) at Fifty Pesos (P50.00) Per Square Meter, provided however, that the discounted rate shall cease to take effect upon the restoration and full operational status of the air-conditioning chiller system in the C3. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairperson of the C3 Board; to the C3 Manager, Mr. Ferdinand C. Gutierrez, both of this City, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
