RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0121 (Sponsored by: Committee on Ways & Means) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 019 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2025-612, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AMNESTY TO ALL REAL PROPERTY TAXPAYER IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN PARTICULARLY ON THE PAYMENT OF THE INTEREST, PENALTIES AND SURCHARGES INCURRED FROM DELINQUENT TAX PAYMENTS/ACCOUNTS, PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS AND THE PERIOD OF AVAILMENT THEREOF, AND PROVIDING LEGAL REMEDIES IN CASE OF NON-PAYMENT, CONSISTENT WITH THE INTENTION AND PURPOSES OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12001, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "REAL PROPERTY VALUATION AND ASSESSMENT REFORM ACT" AS AMENDED" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 019, authored by Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, has been thoroughly considered by this august body with its merits, importance and relevance procedurally tackled on First and Second Reading; WHEREAS, the body, following the incorporation of an amendment in the title of the said Draft Ordinance No. 019 and, finding no legal impediment for its further consideration, find its appropriate to approve the same on Third and Final Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Third Reading Draft Ordinance No. 019, and ordaining the same as City Ordinance no. 2025-612 entitled: "An Ordinance Granting Amnesty To All Real Property Taxpayer In The City Of Pagadian Particularly On The Payment Of the Interest, Penalties And Surcharges Incurred From Delinquent Tax Payments/Accounts, Prescribing The Conditions And The Period Of Availment Thereof, And Providing Legal Remedies In Case Of Non-Payment, Consistent With The Intention And Purposes Of Republic Act No. 12001, Otherwise Known As The "Real Property Valuation And Assessment Reform Act" As Amended." APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
