RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0114 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., THROUGH HONORABLE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE ALLOCATION AND/OR APPROPRIATION OF THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN MILLION PESOS (P15,000,000.00) TO FUND THE CONCRETING/IMPROVEMENT OF FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD FROM UPPER POLOYAGAN TO LOWER POLOYAGAN, IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR" WHEREAS, consistent with the thrust and commitment of the national government through His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., to promote and advance inclusive growth and rural development across the country, the City Government of Pagadian has identified the concreting/improvement of Farm-To-Market Road from Upper Poloyagan to Lower Poloyagan, among the priority development projects of the city that will significantly enhance the mobility of agriculture and commercial goods from farm sites to market place, provide convenience to transportation means as well as ensure better delivery of basic services for the benefit and general welfare of the city's constituents; WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, aware of the lack of financial capability of the City Government to undertake the aforementioned project, has sought funding assistance from the national government through the Office of the President, Republic of the Philippines, to ensure the successful implementation of the foregoing project; WHEREAS, this body expresses its full support to the intention and initiative of the City Chief Executive, thus requesting His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., through the Honorable Executive Secretary, for funding assistance in the amount of P15,000,000.00 for the above-mentioned purpose is imperatively necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as this body hereby earnestly requests His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., through Honorable Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, to favorably consider the allocation and/or appropriation of the amount of Fifteen Million Pesos (P15,000,000.00) to fund the Concreting/Improvement of Farm-To-Market Road from Upper Poloyagan to Lower Poloyagan, in the City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Excellency, President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr., Republic of the Philippines, through Honorable Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, Malacanang, Manila, for their information and favorable action; and to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for support and follow-up. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
