RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0102 (Sponsored by: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER INCREASING THE MONTHLY ALLOWANCE FOR FOOD AND BOARD & LODGING EXTENDED TO THE ASSIGNED DOCTORS UNDER THE DOCTORS TO THE BARRIOS (DTTB) PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH) TO THIRTY THOUSAND PESOS (P30,000.00)" WHEREAS, in recognition of the commitment to provide and deliver primary health care services to the city's constituents, the City Government of Pagadian-being one among the recipient of the Department of Health's Doctors to the Barrios (DTTB) Deployment Program-has been extending food, board and lodging allowances to the assigned DTTB doctors in the amount of P10,000.00; WHEREAS, given the increasing cost of living and the demands associated with rural health services, the current allowance extended to DTTB doctors may no longer be commensurate with their daily needs and operational expenses, such that increasing the same to P30,000.00 is most appropriate and in order, hence, this request; NOW THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider increasing the monthly allowance for food, board and lodging extended to the assigned Doctors to the Barrios (DTTB) to Thirty Thousand Pesos (P30,000.00). RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for his consideration and favorable action; the Local Finance Committee through the City Budget Officer, and the City Local Government Operations Officer, all of this City, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
