RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0089 (By Acclamation) "A RESOLUTION CONVEYING PROFOUND SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF THE LATE FORMER CITY COUNCILOR ESTRELLA D. ARAO WHO DIED IN THE GRACE OF OUR LORD LAST SEPTEMBER 20, 2025, AT THE AGE OF 82" WHEREAS, Estrella D. Arao, a former Board Member of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur and former Pagadian City Councilor, succumbed to death and joined Her Creator last September 20, 2025, at the age of 82; WHEREAS, the demise of former City Councilor Estrella D. Arao, a known civic and political stalwart, who rendered invaluable public service both at the provincial level as Board Member of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur and the city level as an esteemed member of the City Council during the particular period from 2001 up to 2010 (7th, 8th & 9th City Council) where she sincerely dedicated herself to public service by sharing her time, efforts, thoughts and selfless insights that greatly contributed to the development of the City of Pagadian--is a great loss to her family and the community; WHEREAS, this august body along with the people of Pagadian City is deeply saddened by the passing of former City Councilor Estrella D. Arao as it shares the loss of the bereaved family and joins them in praying for the eternal repose of her soul; NOW, THEREFORE, on unanimous motion of all the members present, be it RESOLVED to convey, as this body hereby conveys profound sympathy and condolences to the Bereaved Family of the late former City Councilor Estrella D. Arao who died in the grace of our Lord last September 20, 2025, at the age of 82. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Arao Family at Barangay Sto. Nino, Pagadian City, for information. APPROVED BY ACCLAMATION.
