RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0058 (Sponsor: Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana) "A RESOLUTION ADVISING THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF TIGUMA, THROUGH PUNONG BARANGAY SHERMAR TAMPUS, TO COMPLY WITH THE FIRST NOTICE ISSUED BY THE DISTRICT ENGINEER, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR 1ST DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE, FOR THE IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF STRUCTURE ALONG THE ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OF THE AIRPORT ROAD, SITUATED AT BARANGAY TIGUMA, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, pursuant to the DPWH Department Order No. 73, series of 2014, the District Engineer of the 1st Engineering District, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, issued a First Notice to the Barangay Government of Tiguma for the immediate removal of structure along the road right-of-way of the Airport Road, at Barangay Tiguma, this city, for the reason that it had encroached the pavement and shoulder of the national road, thus posing danger to the safety of the riding public and commuters; WHEREAS, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing concern, this august body, after careful perusal and evaluation, deems it imperatively necessary to advise the Barangay Government of Tiguma to immediately comply with the said Notice to ensure the safety, welfare and protection of the riding public and all individuals traversing along the airport road; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED to advise, as this body hereby advises the Barangay Government of Tiguma, through Punong Barangay Shermar Tampus, to comply with the First Notice issued by the District Engineer, Zamboanga del Sur 1st District Engineering Office, for the immediate removal of structure along the road right-of-way of the Airport Road, situated at Barangay Tiguma, this city. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Barangay Government of Tiguma, through Punong Barangay Shermar Tampus, for their immediate action and consideration; to District Engineer Pablo L. Escuadro, DPWH-First Engineering District, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, Balangasan District; to the Regional Director of DILG; and to the City Local Government Operations Officer, all of this City, for information and reference.
