RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0033 (Sponsor: Honorable Lance Samuel F. Co) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY RECOMMENDING TO THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE, THROUGH THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, TO PRIORITIZE THE INCLUSION IN THE CALENDAR YEAR 2026 ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN THE FUNDING/ALLOCATION FOR ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT FROM BARANGAY DAO UP TO BARANGAY DANLUGAN" WHEREAS, concerned over the deteriorating or damaged condition of the road from Barangay Dao up to Barangay Danlugan, this City, which--if left unattended--is detrimental or injurious to the safety and security including the convenience and mobility of the motorists, commuters and pedestrians passing through the area cannot be understated as it thus requires this body to initiate appropriate corrective measures thereto; WHEREAS, in view thereof, this august body--considering that the City Government is now in the period of preparing and planning for the Calendar Year 2026 Local Expenditure Program--deems it most pressing to include the allocation and/or funding of the road rehabilitation projects among the priority development projects of the city for Calendar Year 2026 Annual Budget; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Lance Samuel F. Co, be it RESOLVED to strongly recommend, as this body strongly recommends to the Local Finance Committee, through the Honorable City Mayor, to prioritize the inclusion in the Calendar Year 2026 Annual Investment Program of the City Government of Pagadian the funding/allocation for Road Rehabilitation Project from Barangay Dao up to Barangay Danlugan. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his consideration and favorable action; and the Local Finance Committee through the City Budget Officer, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
