RESOLUTION NO. 2025-0004 (Sponsor: Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY VICE MAYOR MONIQUE SHAIRA Y. TO AND MS. AILEEN S. SARCINA, OFFICER-IN-CHARGE, CITY TREASURER, TO JOINTLY AND SEVERALLY SIGN BANKING TRANSACTIONS WITH ANY AND ALL DEPOSITORY BANKS OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT PERTAINING TO THE REGULAR OPERATIONS OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD" WHEREAS, Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To formally assumed office as the duly elected City Vice Mayor of Pagadian City effective July 1, 2025, by virtue of the mandate she received from the electorate during the Synchronized National and Local Elections held on May 12, 2025; WHEREAS, Sub-paragraph (a), Article 99, Rule XVI of the Rules and Regulations Implementing the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that the City Vice Mayor shall sign all warrants drawn on the City Treasury for expenditures duly appropriated for the operations of the Sangguniang Panlungsod; WHEREAS, in view of the foregoing provision, it is the considered sense of this august body to formally authorize the City Vice Mayor and the City Treasurer to jointly and severally sign banking transactions with any and all authorized depository banks of the City Government, specifically for matters involving expenditures and disbursements related to the regular operations of the Sangguniang Panlungsod; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of the Honorable Jackielyn Krystyl C. Bana, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize Honorable City Vice Mayor Monique Shaira Y. To and Ms. Aileen S. Sarcina, Officer-in-Charge, City Treasurer, to jointly and severally sign banking transactions with any and all depository banks of the City Government in relation to the lawful and regular financial operations of the Sangguniang Panlungsod. RESOLVED FURTHER, that certified copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned depository banks, the Office of the City Mayor, the Office of the City Treasurer, and other relevant offices for their information and appropriate action.
