RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0930 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications & Franchising and Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF DUMAGOC, THIS CITY, ITS BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 12, S. 2024, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING, REMOVING AND PENALIZING ANY PERSON, NATURAL OR JURIDICAL FROM CAUSING OBSTRUCTION OR STREETS, SIDEWALKS, AVENUES ALLEY, BRIDGES, PARKS AND OTHER SIMILAR PUBLIC PLACES IN THE BARANGAY," WITH AN ADVISE TO INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE AMENDMENTS/REVISIONS THERETO" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Dumagoc, this city, pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991," transmitted to this august body its Barangay Ordinance No. 12, s. 2024, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting, Removing and Penalizing Any Person, Natural or Juridical from causing obstruction or streets, sidewalks, avenues alley, bridges, parks and other similar public places in the barangay," for review and confirmation; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body, in support of the findings of the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing concern was referred for initial consideration, deems it prim and proper to remand the same to the concerned Barangay Council, without action, for the institution of necessary revisions/amendments thereto as prescribed under Joint Committee Report No. 369; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Dumagoc, this City, its Barangay Barangay Ordinance No. 12, s. 2024, of Barangay Dumagoc, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting, Removing and Penalizing Any Person, Natural or Juridical from causing obstruction or streets, sidewalks, avenues alley, bridges, parks and other similar public places in the barangay," with an advise to institute appropriate amendments/revisions thereto. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Dumagoc through its Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
