"RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH HOFILENA HOSPITAL, IN RELATION TO THE AVAILMENT OF THE AMBULANCE SERVICES FOR THE PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY (PCI) IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE LICENSE TO OPERATE"
WHEREAS, the Pagadian City Infirmary (PCI), as a government health care facility created and operated by the City Government of Pagadian, is committed to ensure that the infirmary is fully equipped to serve the healthcare needs of its constituents along with the mandates of the Department of Health on the availability of ambulance services for health facilities as a pre-requisite for the issuance of a license to operate; 
WHEREAS, in relation thereto, Hofilena Hospital and the City Government of Pagadian have agreed to bind themselves to be part of the plight in the conduct of its business as health venture partner in providing health services to patients who are in need in which Pagadian City Infirmary will depend on Hofilena Hospital on the ambulance services, such that the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement is necessary, hence, a request for authority to enter into the same has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor;
WHEREAS, this body, upon careful perusal and evaluation through the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, finds it imperative to clothe the City Chief Executive with the necessary authority to enter and sign the said MOA; 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it
RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and on behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Hofilena Hospital, in relation to the availment of the ambulance services for the Pagadian City Infirmary (PCI) in compliance with the requirements set forth by the Department of Health for the License To Operate.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to Dr. Jose F. Hofilena, III, Medical Director, Hofilena Hospital, all of this city, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
