RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0920 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Police Fire and Public Safety, Committee on Finance & Appropriations and Committee on Commerce, Trade & Industry & Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ALLOCATE THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION (P3,000,000.00) PESOS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, PURPOSELY FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF CLOSED-CIRCUIT TELEVISION SYSTEM WITHIN THE STRATEGIC AREAS OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) BUILDING WITH THE END IN VIEW OF FOSTERING A SECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CUSTOMERS, BUSINESS PROPRIETORS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES TO INCLUDE THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE DIFFERENT GOVERNMENT OFFICES THEREAT" WHEREAS, the City Commercial Center (C3) is a government-owned facility that serves a pivotal role in driving the economic growth of the city as it provides a dynamic blend of retail, entertainment, social experiences and public services not only to the Pagadianons but also to transitory visitors and neighboring residents of Zamboanga del Sur; WHEREAS, the safety and security of the entire commercial building is the primordial concern of the City Government of Pagadian where it is bound to ensure the wellbeing of all patrons, business proprietors and their employees, to include the officers and employees of the different government offices stationed thereat; WHEREAS, in view thereof, it is thus necessary to purchase additional CCTV System for installation within the various strategic locations of the said commercial building, hence, requesting the Honorable City Mayor to allocate the amount of Three Million (P3,000,000.00) Pesos for the purpose is most appropriate and in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to allocate the amount of Three Million (P3,000,000.00) Pesos, out of any available fund sources of the City Government of Pagadian, purposely for the purchase and installation of Closed-Circuit Television System Within the strategic areas of the City Commercial Center (C3) building with the end in view of fostering a secure environment for the benefit of the customers, business proprietors and their employees to include the officers and employees of the different government offices thereat. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for his favorable consideration; and all other offices concerned, for their information and guidance.
