RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0910 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE EIGHT (8) UNITS PICK-UP TYPE VEHICLE IN THE AMOUNT OF TWELVE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND (P12,800,000.00) PESOS TO BE TAKEN FROM THE CALENDAR YEAR 2024 ANNUAL BUDGET PARTICULARLY RF24-1000-2A-1h UNDER ACCOUNT CODE NO. 1-2007-06-010, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter-request, sought for legislative authority to purchase eight (8) units Pick-Up Type vehicle to be used by the Peace and Order Council; WHEREAS, to ensure the attainment of the purpose to which the motor vehicle is to be purchased, the proposed procurement shall be undertaken under the following specifications, to wit: Engine Size : 2.4L Engine Displacement : 2,393 cc Number of Cylinders : 4 Number of Valve : 16-Valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo w/ Air-cooled Intercooler Transmission Category : 6-Speed (4x2) Manual Maximum Output (ps/rpm) : 150/3,400 Maximum Torque (nm/rpm) : 400/1600 - 2,000 Fuel Capacity/Type : 80 Liters/Diesel Brakes : Ventilated Disc (Front) Drum Type (Rear) Tire and Wheel : 265/60 R18 Alloy with Center Cap Seating Capacity : 5 Overall Dimension : 5,365x1855x1,815 WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body, in consideration of the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Finance and Appropriations, to which said matter was initially referred, finds the acquisition of the above-specified motor vehicles to be urgent and necessary for the purpose mentioned, thus the extension of the authority sought for is in order and most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase eight (8) units pick-up type vehicle in the amount of Twelve Million Eight Hundred Thousand (P12,800,000.00) Pesos to be taken from the Calendar Year 2024 Annual Budget particularly RF24-1000-2A-1h under Account Code No. 1-2007-06-010, for the exclusive use of the Peace and Order Council. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
