Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION URGING THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE, THROUGH THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, TO FURNISH AND/OR PROVIDE THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD WITH COPIES OF THE LIST OF PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS CONCERNING THE TRAINING OF YOUTH ON RESILIENCY ADVANCEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS RELEVANT INFORMATION ON THE MATTER OF PROVIDING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF CARGO VESSEL AS LISTED IN SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN NO. 2" WHEREAS, in line with the principle of transparency and accountability, the Sangguniang Panlungsod sought for additional relevant information on some specific programs and projects listed under Supplemental Annual Investment Plan (SAIP) No. 2 more particularly by furnishing a copy of the list of projects on the Training of Youth on Resiliency Advancement and Development as well as the information on the total amount appropriated for the purchase of cargo vessel and whether the said amount is already enough; WHEREAS, considering that the Local Finance Committee is in the best position to provide such information, it is thus now imperative to request the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Local Finance Committee to provide and/or furnish the Sangguniang Panlungsod with such relevant information, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to urge, as this body hereby urges the Local Finance Committee, through the Honorable City Mayor, to furnish and/or provide the Sangguniang Panlungsod with copies of the list of projects and programs concerning the Training of Youth on Resiliency Advancement and Development as well as relevant information on the matter of providing additional funding for the purchase of cargo vessel as listed in Supplemental Annual Investment Plan No. 2. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for his immediate favorable action; to the Local Finance Committee through the City Budget Officer in her capacity as Chairperson, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
