RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0889 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING DRAFT APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 08, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY (P276,960,420.00) PESOS AS AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATION PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0887 OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD AND THE CERTIFICATION ISSUED BY THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE AND APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT FOR SPECIFIED PRIORITY PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, following the approval of Supplemental Annual Investment Plan (SAIP) No. 2, CY 2024, of the City Government of Pagadian involving the total amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Twenty (P276,960,420.00) Pesos through Resolution No. 2024-0888, Draft Appropriation Ordinance No. 08, entitled: "An Ordinance Declaring the Sum of Two Hundred Seventy-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Twenty (P276,960,420.00) Pesos as Available for Appropriation Pursuant to Resolution No. 2024-0887 of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the Certification issued by the Local Finance Committee and Appropriating the same amount for specified priority programs, projects and expenditures of the City Government of Pagadian," was present for consideration on Second Reading; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, and finding importance of the foregoing proposed measure following the deliberation and discussion by the individual Council Members, this body deems the same sufficient in form and that the substance thereof is urgent and necessary so as to warrant its further treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Appropriation Ordinance No. 08, entitled: "An Ordinance Declaring The Sum Of Two Hundred Seventy-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Twenty (P276,960,420.00) Pesos as available for appropriation pursuant to Resolution No. 2024-0887 of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the certification issued by the Local Finance Committee and appropriating the same amount for specified priority programs, projects and expenditures of the City Government of Pagadian," and for its consideration on Third Reading.
