RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0887 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION DECLARING, AS SAVINGS, THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS (P276,960,420.00) OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN--THE AVAILABILITY OF WHICH IS CERTIFIED BY THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE" WHEREAS, the Local Finance Committee has issued a certification of the existence and availability of the total amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Pesos (P276,960,420.00) for re-allocation/re-appropriation to other priority plans, programs, projects and expenditures of the City Government of Pagadian--which amount is to be taken from the following account, to wit: Balance of Unappropriated Surplus for CY 2023 P 93,440,666.00 Reversion of Continuing Appropriation 183,052,567.00 20% Development Fund P 4,000,000.00 5% DRRMF 11,200,000.00 Regular Fund 153,715,345.77 Capital Purchases-Executive 12,804,621,23 Capital Purchases-Legislative 1,332,600.00 Reversion of Current Appropriation 467,187.00 Total P 276,960,420.00 WHEREAS, this body, in support of the findings of the Committee on Finance & Appropriations, to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial evaluation and consideration, finds it prim and proper to declare the same amount of P276,960,420.00 as savings and available for reallocation/reappropriation for other priority development plans, programs, projects and expenditures of the City Government; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to declare, as this body hereby declares, as Savings, the amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Pesos (P276,960,420.00) of the City Government of Pagadian--the availability of which is certified by the Local Finance Committee. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer and the City Auditor, all of this city, for information, reference and guidance.
