RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0885 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE ONE (1) UNIT VAN-TYPE VEHICLE IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P2,500,000.00) PESOS TO BE TAKEN FROM ACCOUNT CODE NO. 1-2007-06-010, CALENDAR YEARS 2021 AND 2022, UNDER CAPITAL OUTLAY, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY AUDITOR" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter-request, sought for legislative authority to purchase one (1) unit van-type vehicle to be used by the Office of the City Auditor; WHEREAS, to ensure the attainment of the purpose to which the motor vehicle is to be purchased, the proposed procurement shall be undertaken under the following specifications, to wit: One (1) Unit Van-Type Service Vehicle Engine Size 2.8L Engine Displacement 2,755 cc Number of Cylinders 4 Number of Valve 16-Valve DOHC Transmission 6-Speed Manual Maximum Output (ps/rpm) 176/3,400rpm Maximum Torque (nm/rpm) 420/1400 - 2,600rpm Fuel Capacity/Type 70 Liters/Diesel Brakes Ventilated Disc (Front) Drum Type (Rear) Tire and Wheel 235/65 R16C Alloy Dimension and Weight: Overall Dimension : (mm) 5,265x1,950x1,990 Wheelbase : (mm) 3,860 WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body, in consideration of the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Finance and Appropriations, to which said matter was initially referred, finds the acquisition of the above-specified motor vehicle to be urgent and necessary for the purpose mentioned, thus the extension of the authority sought is in order and most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ma. Alicia Elena V. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase One (1) Unit Van-Type Vehicle in the amount of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand (P2,500,000.00) Pesos to be taken from Account Code No. 1-2007-06-010, Calendar Years 2021 and 2022, under Capital Outlay, for the exclusive use of the Office of the City Auditor. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer and the City Auditor, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
