RESOLUTION NO. 2024-0873 (Sponsored by: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY ADOPTING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN THE PHILIPPINE PLAN OF ACTION FOR NUTRITION (PPAN) 2023-2028" WHEREAS, the Department of Health-National Nutrition Council, through Resolution No. 1, series of 2023, has approved and adopted the Philippine Plan of Action For Nutrition 2023-2028 as a measure to address prevailing issues of malnutrition across various life stages, food insecurity, and related health concerns as it outlines the strategic objectives, programs and interventions to further advance an inclusive national development; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and consideration, this body, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing matter, deems it proper and necessary to officially adopt the National Plan of Action for Nutrition 2023-2028 in the City of Pagadian in order to institutionalize its implementation and facilitate resource allocation and program execution at the local level; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to officially adopt, as this body hereby officially adopts in the City of Pagadian the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023-2028. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; to the Department of the Interior and Local Government through Ms. Maribel C. Estoquia, CLGOO; and to Ms. Mary Joy Pama-Calimbo, CNAO-Designate, all of this city, for their information, reference and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
